Kue Lapis Beras

WITH seductive colors, rice cake is always left to their own sensation of eating it.

Although the need patience to make layer upon layer, but you can make a layer cake of rice at home. The following materials and how to make it.

Material:

1200 ml thick coconut milk (first juice from coconuts 2)
1 teaspoon salt
350 grams sugar
400 grams of rice flour
100 grams of starch
½ teaspoon vanilla
Red food coloring, yellow, and green
3 pandan leaves
Water for steaming

How to Make:

Cook the coconut milk, salt, and sugar over medium heat, stirring, stirring until boiling. Remove and let stand until warm.

Sift rice flour, cornstarch, and vanilla. Pour the warm milk, stirring until a smooth dough. For the dough into four parts as much. Make red, yellow, and green. One part keep them white again.

Grease pan 20x20 cm size with cooking oil. Pour one ladle batter green. Justify.

Steam for 5 minutes. After that pour another one ladle of red dough. Steam again for 5 minutes.

Do the same for each color in sequence. Last steamed pandan cake with water for 20 minutes. Remove and chill.

Results for 30 pieces.
