ARC now seeking vendors for June 5

HAGERSTOWN - The ARC of Washington County, which serves the developmentally disabled, is seeking vendors to participate in its yard and craft sale from 7 to 2 p.m. June 5. Vendor space is available for $10, with tables available for $5 each.

Bingo night slated for Wednesday

MARTINSBURG - The American Legion Berkeley Post 14, at 125 W. Race St., holds bingo every Wednesday.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m., with early bird games at 6:30 p.m., and regular bingo at 7 p.m. Door prizes are given each week.

Meals to benefit Good Shepherd

Scholarship golf tournament set

HEDGESVILLE - The first Eagle School Scholarship Golf Scramble will be held June 14 at The Woods. Shotgun start will be held at 12:30 p.m. Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m., with a reception at 6 p.m.

Frick has been invited to study at the world famous Salzburg College in Austria and attend the Salzburg Festival. Proceeds from the recital will help offset the cost of the trip.

MARTINSBURG - Arby's restaurants are giving residents of the Eastern Panhandle an easy way to help the children in their community. Now through June 13, customers who visit Arby's restaurants may donate $1 to Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Eastern Panhandle to help the organization match a child with an adult mentor.

Last year, Arby's raised over $2.1 million nationwide through its in-store campaign. Locally, the Foxcroft Avenue Arby's raised over $700 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Eastern Panhandle.

All customers who donate will receive a coupon redeemable for $1 off a regular, medium or large roast beef sandwich combo or beef 'n cheddar combo on their next purchase.
