IF you have experienced special moments at Malaysias oldest fast-food restaurant, now is the chance to share the story with everyone and maybe win a prize.

A&W Malaysia Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of KUB Malaysia Berhad, is holding the A&W Whats Your Story? Contest to reach out to customers who have supported the A&W brand through the years.

KUB Malaysia Bhd group managing director Datuk Mohd Nazar Samad said that it was the Federal Territories Minister Datuk Raja Nong Chik Raja Zainal Abidin, who triggered the initiative last January, during the re-launch of A&Ws first restaurant in Malaysia at Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman, Kuala Lumpur.

At A&W, we believe that life should be about simple things we cherish such as a hearty, wholesome meal with the family, hanging out with friends after school, sharing and caring over a glass of cold, refreshing root beer.

It is often these small but special moments that are weaved into a beautiful tapestry to form a wonderful life and shape who we are today, Mohd Nazar said at the launch of the contest recently.

The contest, divided into a Video Category and a Written Category, requires participants to showcase a significant, inspiring, momentous or treasured moment in their lives that involves anything related to A&W in the form of a video or a written submission.

The five most exciting entries from each category will be invited to battle it out in front of a live audience and a panel of judges.

All five finalists in each category will walk away with exciting prizes.

The top three winners in each category will also walk away with a 3D/2N holiday package for two to Berjaya Tioman Beach Resort.

Apart from that, the remaining finalists will also receive an Acer AspireOne 532H Netbook each.

Open to all Malaysian residents aged 12 and above, the contest ends on July 10.

For every RM18 (excluding tax) spent in a single receipt, customers will receive an A&W Whats Your Story? Contest Scratch Card which entitles them to submit one entry.
